US News recognizes NAEC accreditation of level 4 epilepsy centers in its ranking of hospitals with the best Neurology and Neurosurgery Departments.
Recent Study Shows Number of People with Epilepsy Increased
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report on August 10th. The data show that the number of people with active epilepsy in 2015 rose to about 3.4 million. This is also the first CDC study to provide estimates of epilepsy prevalence at the national and state level.
